The meeting “The Europe we want”, organized by the PD provincial federations of Latina and Frosinone, will be held on Friday 3 May at 6.00 pm, at the Infermeria dei Conversi Auditorium in Fossanova.
The former Democratic secretary and former governor of Lazio, Nicola Zingaretti, candidate for the European Parliament, will intervene in the proceedings. «The years of best government in the Lazio Region bind us to Zingaretti – underlines the provincial secretary of the Democratic Party, Omar Sarubbo – and we want to bring to Europe that political tension capable of keeping values and pragmatism together. I remember the laborious recovery of public health and the 10 billion euros of debt produced by the right, the dozens of assets confiscated from the mafias and assigned to associations, the over 8 thousand students trained abroad with the “I’ll be right back” project, the doubling of the scholarships study centers, shelters and anti-violence centres, the ability to spend the entire programming of the 2014-2020 European funds without sending sums back to Brussels”.
In addition to the secretary Sarubbo, the following will participate in the meeting with Zingaretti: the regional secretary Daniele Leodori, the regional president of the PD Francesco De Angelis, the regional councilors Sara Battisti and Salvatore La Penna, the provincial secretary of the Frosinone Federation Luca Fantini and the deputy secretary regional Valeria Campagna.
