Salvatore La Rosa: from Trapani to Reggio Calabria as new police commissioner
REGGIO CALABRIA, 17 MAY 2024 – Salvatore La Rosa has been appointed as the new police commissioner of Reggio Calabria, succeeding Bruno Megale, recently appointed police commissioner of Milan. This change marks an important change in the leadership of the State Police in the Calabrian city.
Salvatore La Rosa, originally from Messina, boasts a long career within the State Police. Before taking on his current role, La Rosa headed the Lamezia Terme police station, demonstrating competence and determination in fighting local crime. La Rosa’s last position was that of police commissioner of Trapani, where he comes from.
