Altopascio, Panda Baskin wins the regional championship and flies to Piedmont

The Panda Baskin of Altopascio officially wins the title of regional champion at Tuscan Championship 2024 which was held last Sunday (14 April) in Montale.

This success is the result of a journey that began in September, when, faced with the growing number of participants, the sports association made the decision to create two balanced teams (rather than one strong and one weaker): one included in the ranking and the other outside. This choice, in line with the spirit of baskin, led to the victory of the black team, which lost only one match, against the teammates of the white team, who, however, being out of the league, did not count in the overall victory tally.

The official matches, however, were all won, seven out of seven and the boys from Panda Baskin Altopascio placed first. In order of arrival the other teams present at the championship were: Galaxy Porcari, Pistoia Blu, Pistoia Giallo, Warriors Lucca, Costone Siena, The Orange Mugello, Cefa Castelnuovo as well as the Panda Bianchi.

Now the Panda Baskin Altopascio is preparing to face the next scheduled event: on Sunday 19 May in Ovada the Altopascese team will compete against the first-placed Piedmont team in the interregional phase. In case of victory, Panda Baskin will guarantee access to the national finals which will take place in Lucca and Capannori from 31 May to 2 June.
