The Minervino community mourns the loss of Mauro Vinetti – MinervinoLive.it

Tomorrow, in all likelihood, the funeral of Mauro Vinetti, born in Minervino in 1978, will take place, victim of the tragic accident that occurred last night on the former SP 231 Canosa-Cerignola. The authorization from the prosecutor’s office for the return of the body is expected in the next few hours.

The announcement of Mauro’s passing shook not only the community of Minervino, but also all those who knew him and who wanted to leave a message of condolence on social media. “Hi Mauro, I still don’t believe it, I will always remember you with a smile RIP” or again “How disgusting! That road is worse than a mule track, shame on you for not fixing it properly. I don’t know who is responsible for resurfacing the road, I’ll just say one thing: shame on you“.

The comments express not only the sorrow for the loss of a friend, but also the anger at the delays and failures to intervene in road maintenance. “To say that the news saddened me is not enough, I am truly outraged. The real problem concerns our infrastructures, eternally subjected to pseudo modernization and restoration works. Dear brother Mauro, unfortunately today you represent yet another victim! Hi buddy.

As for the causes of the accident, it seems that one of the two cars lost control, then hit the guardrail and ended up hitting the car coming in the opposite direction. Investigations are underway to shed light on the dynamics and ascertain responsibilities.

The editorial team shares the pain that has affected the Vinetti family in this painful and difficult moment. And while Mauro’s funeral is being prepared, reflections and discussions are opening up on the state of our roads and the need for concrete interventions to guarantee the safety of all citizens.
