NAPLES, THE ‘A DAY AS A DISABLED’ INITIATIVE ON 18 APRIL – AppiaPolis – News in Real Time

NAPLES – On April 18th in PV “A day as a disabled person” will take place, an initiative to raise awareness of the daily life of a person with a disability. The event was organized by the Guarantor for the Disabled of Campania, Avv. Paolo Colombo, in collaboration with the Gesco Consortium, with the Strachan Rodinò foundation and with the Napoliclick portal. It will be held at the Paolo Colosimo Regional Institute (Sales Room, Ground Floor. Accessible from the car park) Via S. Teresa degli Scalzi, Naples at 3.30 pm.
After greetings from the authorities present, speeches are expected: from the lawyer. Paolo Colombo, Guarantor of the rights of people with disabilities of the Campania Region; dr. Sergio d’Angelo, president of the GESCO social enterprise group; of Dr. Mario mirabile, president of the Strachan Rodinò foundation; by Dr. Lorenzo Latella, General Secretary of Cittadinanza Attiva, Patient Rights Tribunal; by Dr. Giuseppe Trieste, Honorary President of FIABA Onlus; finally by Prof. Nazaro Pagano, National President of ANMIC and National President of FAND. Following there will be demonstrations of opportunities for artistic, study and autonomy on the part of the children of the Colosimo Institute. The guarantor of the disabled of the Campania Region, Avv. Paolo Colombo, thanks the Gesco Consortium, the Strachan Rodinò foundation and the Napoliclick portal for their collaboration. He underlines that this event aims to shine a spotlight on the daily living conditions of people with disabilities, with a particular focus, this year, on the right to health, on overcoming all barriers and on the process of the enabling law on disability (227/ 21) with the real expectations and opportunities of people with disabilities, and therefore raise public awareness.
