After the farewell of Felipe Anderson, Lazio lands the “coup” Zaccagni: the renewal is approaching

Having lost Felipe Anderson, Lazio and Lotito raise their bets on Mattia Zaccagni. The last 24 hours at the Biancoceleste home have seen significant changes on both fronts, on the two masters of the offensive flanks since the beginning of the Sarri cycle.

Brazilian side, the final farewell to Lazio arrived on his 31st birthday, for the second time. First the announcement of the renewal agreement which was not found, shortly after the communication given proudly by Palmeiras, which took everyone by surprise. Felipe Anderson’s choice is a lifestyle choice: he signed until the end of the 2027 calendar year, for a net salary (around 3 million euros) lower than what he could have taken from Juventus, but also compared to what Lazio thought to be able to push to convince him to stay.

With whom he seems to have found the right key is Mattia Zaccagni. And to think that just seven days ago his agent Mario Giuffredi had sent a warning to Lazio and Lotito saying that he hadn’t heard from anyone from the club for over a month and that they would look around. Words that scared some Lazio fans, but which can be forgotten, given that an agreement in principle has been reached for the renewal of Zaccagni’s contract until 30 June 2029. In recent weeks Zaccagni had been linked, among others, to Juventus and Fiorentina.
