Sunday 21 April from 10am to 7pm Leonardo da Vinci will be the protagonist in his city with Leonardo’s Day. There Pro Loco of Vinci promotes the eighth re-enactment of one of the best minds in history, a highly anticipated moment that attracts many tourists and curious people.
An exciting journey through the mind of a genius. The theme that will accompany the re-enactment will be “I had a vision!”, just to underline Leonardo’s innate genius and his incredible art of imagining, transcending and predicting incredible works.
Art, shows, culture and street art in more than 30 initiatives under the unmistakable sign of Leonardo. And then breathtaking exhibitions, a market full of works of art and craftsmanship and even throwing a wreath in his honor: nothing is missing. Even more so in 2024, the year of a great one novelty.
In fact, the main event of the whole day will be the theater show “Three memories of Leonardo”: immersive experience curated byPrimera Association which will lead those present to know and relate to three of Leonardo’s most important emotional ties. The shows will be held in the exhibition hall in via Montalbano 6 at 11:00, 12:00, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30.
Is it over here? No… For the little ones, there will be exciting stories and adventures with the characters who populated Leonardo’s life.
And for those who love the adventurethere is also the possibility of exploring the places loved by Leonardo through guided treksto completely immerse yourself in the beauty and history of the places that inspired the genius.

“Leonardo Day 2024 will take us to discover Leonardo seen through the eyes of those who weaved the plots of some important moments of his life, giving us an evocative image of man beyond genius” says Luca Melani, secretary of Pro Loco Vinci.
The event sees the patronage by: Municipality of Vinci, Metropolitan City of Florence, Municipality of Milan, City of Amboise, Union of Empolese Valdelsa Municipalities, Tuscany Region, Leonardo Museum of Vinci, Historical Event of the Tuscany Region, Cr Firenze Foundation.
