“The annual salary of Carlos Tavares is worth the salary of a thousand Mirafiori workers. The Stellantis shareholders’ meeting approved with 30% of the votes against the salary of the CEO Tavares which is 23.5 million euros of 14.9 in 2022, with an increase of more than 55%.
While at Mirafiori the increase in the use of layoffs for workers was communicated, who continue to pay the consequences of wrong choices and the absence of industrial policies in our country. In all the other factories, in fact, the situation and above all the prospects are certainly no better.
No responses were received from Stellantis and the Government to the joint automotive strike in Turin. The relaunch of all the factories is necessary through new production missions, investments in research and development and guarantees for employment, also for component companies.
The meeting at Palazzo Chigi with President Meloni and CEO Tavares is increasingly urgent to save and relaunch Stellantis and the automotive supply chain.”
