“Never before has the need to strengthen the defense capacity of our country and Europe and the ability to protect our routes, our trade and our foreign policy been so dramatically topical. We will also talk about this today with operators in the sector. From this point of view, Liguria is strategic and its shipyards, the presence of Fincantieri, Leonardo, Ansaldo especially for energy and future technologies are an important part of our development; fortunately these are solid and healthy companies in every sector, both military and civil. Today, therefore, we need to create more and more synergy with the capacity for innovation and research which also arises from collaboration with large local bodies, universities, CNR, IIT first and foremost.”.
