The Police Commissioner of Pordenone Dr. Giuseppe Solìmene, sensitive to the needs of citizens in relation to requests for the issuance of passports, in addition to increasing the agenda of appointments at the Police Headquarters, also extends to Sacile the project already started in the Municipality of San Vito al Tagliamento, thanks to the collaboration of the Municipal Administrations, who immediately welcomed the idea of the Police Headquarters.
On the mornings of 8, 15 and 22 May between 09.00 and 12.30 the Passport Office staff will welcome citizens to the premises of the Municipality of Sacile for the issuing of passports.
This experimentation makes it possible to facilitate both citizens residing far from the capital and those present in municipalities with more than 15,000 inhabitants. For municipalities with a population of less than 15,000 inhabitants, however, the Ministry with the Polis project has envisaged the creation of proximity “one-stop shops” at post offices to submit passport requests.

Following the positive outcome of the experiment, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Pordenone will consider expanding the project to other municipalities.

It is important to remember that users must book via the online diary and that, in case of difficulties in booking, they can contact the registry offices of the municipalities of residence or the local Carabinieri stations.
In addition to the places included in the ordinary online agenda, if there are no places available, the citizen, who possesses the documented emergency requirements and needs to have his passport within 30 days, can book an appointment online in the dedicated agenda to emergencies.
The applicant must complete and print a self-certification where he will declare the reasons for the urgency which must be supported by suitable documentation.
If the ordinary and priority diaries are not accessible, the citizen who needs to have the passport within 15 days can click on the red icon and print the self-certification to be delivered to the passport counter of the Police Headquarters.
