The day will open with institutional greetings from the President of the Regional Council Antonio Mazzeo and the Vice President Stefano Scaramelli. This will be followed by speeches by Paola Frassinetti, undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Merit; Duccio Balestracci, professor emeritus of medieval history at the University of Siena; Silvio Ciappi, forensic psychiatrist and criminologist; Viviana Castelli, national president of the Step-net non-profit association; Giorgio Fiorenza, president of the board of directors of the Santissima Annunziata boarding school. Massimo Arcangeli, artistic director of “Words on the Way” will coordinate.
The themes of this edition, which will continue until April 13, are: “Broad” (or inclusive) language, Ecology and linguistic diversity, Young languages, The languages of politics between past and present, The words of sport, The words and ‘environment.
Access will be permitted, upon presentation of a valid identity document, within the limits of the places provided pursuant to safety regulations.
