I work for 14 Alpine Guides

New opportunities I work for Alpine Guides at ARPA Lombardia thanks to a new public selection.

In particular, 14 resources with self-employed work contracts as Alpine Guides are selected to carry out activities mountaineering assistance at the Geological Monitoring Centre of ARPA Lombardia.

It will be possible to submit the application for admission by May 29, 2024.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Candidates in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can participate in the ARPA Lombardia selection for work assignments as Alpine Guides, namely:

  • citizenship Italian or from one of the countries of the European Union or from other categories indicated in the announcement;
  • enjoyment of civil and political rights;
  • physical suitability for employment;
  • not be excluded from the active political electorate;
  • have not had any criminal convictions for crimes against the public administration and not have criminal proceedings pending for the same crimes;
  • do not find themselves in conditions of incompatibility and not find themselves in any situation that prevents them from taking on professional roles in favor of the public administration.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

To participate in the public selection the following are also required specific requirements:

  • registration in the Alpine Guides Register;
  • possession of the training certificate for those employed in the use of access and positioning systems using ropes, pursuant to Legislative Decree. 9 April 2008, n. 81 and subsequent amendments;
  • driving license B or higher;
  • declaration of safe driving experience in the presence of dirt and snowy roads;
  • availability of a vehicle suitable for transporting technicians and/or equipment from the Sondrio headquarters to the monitored areas;
  • availability of adequate safety equipmentPPE and mountaineering equipment used as PPE, essential for operating in adverse climatic and environmental situations;
  • possession of technological supports (field notebook, mobile phone and web access) for data collection in the field, telephone communications and data transmission using specific software (e.g. Hoboware or DL.OCS);
  • possession of a regular VAT number.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

Selection will take place based on qualifications based on the information contained in the CV submitted and the declarations made in the application form, as well as any interview/practical test.

To award the role, the following skills are required, which will be taken into consideration for the purposes of drawing up the final ranking:

  • excellent knowledge of the Lombardy Alps and ability to independently reach the areas of intervention indicated by the Geological Monitoring Center and listed in the notice;
  • proven ability and experience in using instrumentation for geotechnical measurements (distometers, phreatimeters, mechanical comparators, inclinometric probes with manual detection control unit, GPS antennas and receivers, manual discharge piezometers) and knowledge of the instrumentation installed in the data collection stations;
  • proven ability and experience in periodic sampling of acquired data from remote stations using adequate IT media;
  • proven ability and experience in carrying out small maintenance and instrumental checks of telemeasurement and manual stations including limited vegetation removal interventions and installation/movement or dismantling of instrumentation.

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION

The application for participation in the ARPA Lombardy Alpine Guide competition must be submitted via telematic procedureby connecting to this page by 12:00 of the day May 29, 2024.

To access the platform you must authenticate using SPID, CIE, CNS or eIDAS credentials.

DURATION AND COMPENSATION

The work assignment for a mountain guide at ARPA Lombardia starts from the date of signing the contract for a estimated duration of 36 months and provides a daily compensation of €300.00 + VAT.

The amount of the compensation is to be understood as inclusive of any further charges and expenses that the professional may incur in carrying out his/her activity, without prejudice to the mileage reimbursement as defined below. The mileage reimbursement, calculated on an ACI basis for an average car, will include the round trip distance from home, declared by the Alpine Guide at the time of the application.

If more than one Guide is used for the mission, the mileage reimbursement will be unique and will be paid to the Guide with the furthest domicile.
