VARS – Valentina Greggio from Verbano won for the fourth time world title in speed skiing. The strong wind did not allow Vars, France, to compete in the final phase of the world championship and after a long wait at altitude, the jury decided to cancel the trials, which had already been postponed by a day for the same reasons.

There ranking of the 2024 World Championships it was therefore based on the last run carried out, which saw the Verbanese ahead of everyone with a speed of 226.429 km/h, followed by the host Clea Martinez (222.235 km/h) and the Swede Mathilda Persson (217.496 km/h ).

Simone Origone from Valle d’Aosta was disqualified due to a technical problem with his materials at the end of the run which would prove decisive. However, Samuele Capello was eliminated in the previous round and thus closes the ranking in 29th place.
