The Meeting is the second album by Torureleased on label Pulp records last March 22nd.
A concept album on the importance of mutual contact, of contact with others and how this can leave an indelible mark in us, a push for a new internal change that leads to a new self-awareness.
A record with electronic sounds, which mixes the ambient genre with the more classic song form, without giving up experimental sound research.
In this album we find a very vast sound environment, full of details that best represent the completely original vision of T’s musicorru.
The acoustic instruments are limited to what is strictly necessary, focusing totally on the electronic part and on the samples which constitute the arrangements.

“L’contro” is a very particular album for me. I consciously decided to take a path that went totally in the opposite direction to the mood of contemporary Italian music, seeking less captivating and decidedly more reflective sounds.
AND a record that talks about loneliness but also about overcoming it by recognizing the true value of mutual encounter and the personal enrichment that can be drawn from this. A topic that I consider extremely important, especially in these strange times in which we live.
Bio
Tōru is the stage name of Elia VitarelliTuscan, born in 1993.
After the previous musical experience with i Hiroshima flowersa band with which he shared stages with artists of the caliber of Verdena, Edda, Calcutta And Fiumanidecides to dedicate himself to a new project that arises from a deeper individual need to express himself by directly confronting his own interiority.
His first single was released on 27 September 2019 Alone For Pulp Recordsthen awarded with the GiovaniSì award during the edition of Rock contest 2019. The debut album will be released on 28 February 2020 via Pulp Dischi/Artist First Tomorrow.
After a tour of various dates across the peninsula, his first book will be released on 9 September 2021 Knives and chrysanthemumspublished by Porto Seguro Editore, followed by a series of presentations set to music in Italian cultural centers.
The new single will be released on April 22, 2022 A special day / Zabriskie Point presented through a special concert in a semi-orchestral formation of six elements.
The album “The meeting it was preceded by two singles Shell And Mirrorreleased in October 2023 and January 2024 respectively.
