PIEDIMONTE SAN GERMANO – Project activities continueOpen Sport – Sport for all”. This time the 3rd meeting of the Project will take place in Piedimonte S. Germano and will involve the children of the Consortium of Social Services and the Comprehensive Institute of Piedimonte San Germano. The initiative, which is part of the inclusive sport project, will concern the Baskin sporting activity and will take place with start at 9.30 amat Piedimonte municipal sports hall. The kids from the Social Services Day Center will compete with the students from the Piedmont Comprehensive Institute. We would like to remind you that baskin, an acronym for inclusive basketball, represents a sporting practice which is very widespread in northern Italy and which has been spreading in our areas for some time thanks to the Ente Italiano Sport Inclusivo which allows able-bodied athletes to compete in basketball, with disabled athletes in basketball. The event will make use of the technical support of the members of ENSI (National Inclusive Sport Body and of the sports operators for disabled athletes who have obtained the certificate of participation in the Course for Sports Operators which was held in the past months. The aim of the project is that of making children with disabilities increasingly participate in sporting activities, promoting their social inclusion. The invitation to this third day of inclusive sport is extended to all those who want to try their hand at baskin, but above all with sport in general. , as a means of inclusion and physical well-being.
