What could the title of Spider-Man 4 be? While rumors continue about the new Spider-Man film with Tom Holland for the MCU, let’s try to imagine in which direction the film saga co-produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will go.
One of the ideas we thought of is a title that takes up some of the iconic names of the comic series of the Marvel Comics saga, such as The Spectacular Spider-Man or also The Ultimate Spider-Man: Director Jon Watts and Kevin Feige have always talked about the ‘Home’ trilogy as the origin story of the MCU’s Spider-Man, and now that that saga has concluded we expect Sony and Marvel Studios to ditch the pun-centric on ‘Home’, then a famous title theorized by fans as Spider-Man: A New Home it seems unlikely to us.
The little information we have on the possible plot of Spider-Man 4 talks about a Peter Parker determined to give up his private life in favor of an existence almost totally focused on Spider-Man, which is why a dry and direct title like The Spectacular Spider -Man or similar seems like the best choice to us, at least based on the rumors circulating about the film. Another possibility is obviously linked to an effective subtitlewhich reflects the story that the film will tell: from what is said Spider-Man 4 should be focused on Kingpin’s rise to power as mayor of New York, with Daredevil as an ally and the addition of elements linked to the Multiverse and the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, so a more specific title such as Spider-Man: Devil’s Reign.
Clearly for now it is a leap in the dark, we await more information on the project and a possible official announcement.
