With a great performance and with the desire to never give up. Ostiamare beat Cassino at Salveti and moved to just three points from the play off zone. Mister Campagna’s team approaches well and plays an excellent first half hour, breaking the deadlock with a deadly one-two. In the 23rd minute Icardi finds the wildcard from outside with a left-footed shot that leaves Stellato immobile and which goes into the far post. There wasn’t even time for Cassino to settle down before Ostiamare recovered the ball and stinged again on the counterattack: Barlafante on the right out aimed at his marker, saved it and served the ball to Mencagli which made it 0-2. Only at this point did Cassino find the reaction and in the 31st minute they shortened: action on the right orchestrated by Darboe who served Abreu, who did well to slip past Tomas and Tinti and deposited it into an empty net. Then balance reigns until half-time. In the second half, Ostiamare controlled the match and came close to scoring a trio with Barlafante, stopped by the post after missing the man in the area. Campagna makes the first changes and seems to have control of the match, but in the 43rd minute Natalucci makes a mistake from a scrum with the ball hitting Tomas’ arm. Penalty kick that Abreu converts. But the Lidense did not give up and, after being denied a brilliant penalty kick on Natalucci, they won at the last gasp: Sorgente from the left aims for the man and enters the area, the ball goes to Natalucci who stops it and crosses it with the plate behind Stellato, giving the three points to Campagna’s eleven.
