“Over 1.4 million euros to support training courses that promote the competitiveness of the agricultural and forestry sector, the efficient use of resources and corporate multifunctionality”. This was announced by the vice-president of the Liguria Region with responsibility for Agriculture Alessandro Piana with the opening of the tender on measure 1.1 of the Rural Development Program dedicated to training activities.

“We wish to support – explains councilor Alessandro Piana – the growth of the sector, providing all possible tools and correct information. For this reason we have allocated important resources in the new call: from 11 April to 27 June the training proposals can be included in the online regional catalogue, available to companies, who will be able to choose the course of interest and always register online. Applications for support can be submitted within the 60th day following the closing date of the training proposal in the Catalogue, using the SIAN (National Agricultural Information System). The procedure will be at the counter so the applications will be processed in chronological order, with the Offices’ commitment to reducing the investigation times for issuing the concessions as much as possible. Young users or companies that fall in areas with environmental and territorial criticalities – he concludes – are among the rewarding elements of the courses which must last between 8 and 100 hours over a period of 150 days. The maximum time limit for the conclusion of the training courses is set at 31 March 2025″. All information will be available on www.agriligurianet.it.

“The allocation for the measure – explains councilor Alessandro Piana – amounts to 335 thousand euros intended to finance qualified partnership projects, made up of a plurality of subjects. This intervention is implemented in a context already characterized by a system of strong protection and valorisation of agrobiodiversity”.
In fact, the Liguria Region continues to staunchly support the recovery, study, conservation and valorization of regional genetic resources in the olive and viticultural sectors. “Various elements are permitted in the projects – explains councilor Alessandro Piana – such as the recognition of study or project activities already carried out at a regional level, the localisation, filing and computerized management of data relating to the identified genetic resources, the preparation of documentation for registration in the national biodiversity registry, the definition of technical-methodological aspects and the creation and management of conservation fields. Information events will also be held, including as part of the National Biodiversity Day, as well as information products”.

The following are considered qualified partners for the presentation of operational projects: instrumental or in-house bodies of the Liguria Region, university institutions, research centers, agricultural schools, producer associations and service providers. Applications can be submitted on SIAN (National Agricultural Information System) from 3 April until 9 May this year. All information will be available on www.agriligurianet.it.
