PokémonHOME has just received the update that all fans have been waiting for: that of compatibility with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. To celebrate this important milestone, players will be able to receive for free on Pokémon HOME of the exclusive specimens of the Starter Pokémon Of Paldea equipped with their special abilities. Here’s how you can redeem them.
The three starter Pokémon will be available to receive on the mobile version of Pokémon HOME after transferring for the first time of Pokémon from Scarlet and Violet inside the HOME boxes, using the Switch version of the application. Once this is done, it will be necessary to open Pokémon HOME on mobile and select the green icon present in the center of the lower part of the home screen.
This will open a drop-down menu, where we will have to choose the section “Secret Gift“, present only in the mobile version of the application.
After entering the “Secret Gift” section, you will have to select Gift Box and then click on all three gifts called “Welcome to Paldea“. You will thus obtain your initial Pokémon with special abilities and you will find them already deposited in one of your Pokémon HOME boxes, ready to be transferred to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Attention: to carry out this procedure it will be necessary to have updated the Pokémon HOME mobile and Nintendo Switch applications to the version most recent and connected them both to the same Nintendo Account. So make sure you do all of these steps to be able to redeem these special specimens of Paldea’s starter Pokémon for free.
