It was predictable. Last year, for the launch of the new family of foldable smartphones, the choice fell on Seoul, a way to bring attention back to “home”, the cradle of Samsung technology. This year, thanks to the sponsorship of the Olympics, thethe choice falls on Paris.
The date has been set for July 10th, and it will be an opportunity to reveal not only the new sixth generation Galaxy Z Flip and Fold but also to officially announce that Galaxy Ring which was anticipated in January and which now, after the latest tweaks, it should finally be ready. The Galaxy Ring, designed for health and sport, could be the key product together with the Galaxy AI to frame the next Olympics.
There will be a space dedicated to Galaxy AI and its evolution: the bulk arrived with the new version of OneUI in January, but six months is an eternity in a sector that evolves at an incredible pace week after week. It cannot be ruled out that it may arrive, in fact, a sort of more personal “intelligence” based on Gauss, Samsung’s LLM engine which to date has been used little in Galaxy, leaving more space for Google’s Gemini.
Other products from the ecosystem are also present, from the new Watches to the Tab S10.
The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel starting at 3pm Italian time. Some retailers, such as MediaWorld, have already started “blindly” activating pre-order promos with discounts of 200 euros.
