LONGER AND SPACIOUS – The Mini Cooper 5 doors it completes the range of the new generation of the English city car, alongside the 3-door variant. 403 cm long174 cm wide and 146 cm high, maintains the same proportions as the previous version and compared to the 3-door Mini Cooper, has a larger step of 72 mm to the full advantage of space on board, and a boot that varies from 275 to 925 litres. Aesthetically it is very similar to the 3-door version, with the only substantial difference identifiable in the side profile where the two are inserted additional ports. There are 11 colors available that can be combined with different color options for the contrasting roof with 16, 17 or 18-inch wheels.
C OR S – Two versions of the Mini Cooper 5 doors: the C with 1.5 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine 156 HP230 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 in 8 seconds, and the S equipped with the 2-liter four-cylinder 204 HP, 300 Nm and a 0-100 in 6.8 seconds. The precise and direct steering, with the reduced turning radius, together with the compact dimensions and short overhangs, should guarantee very dynamic driving and the usual go-kart feeling.
FIVE FITTINGS – The Mini Cooper 5 doors it is available in five trim levels: Essential, Classic, Favoured, Vibrant Silver and JCW, which differ in the color of the finishes and some aesthetic customisations. L’Essential includes the logo in Vibrant Silver, while the Classic, has a roof available in white or black, as well as the Multitone roof which includes a shade of colour. In the setup Favorite, the front radiator grille surround and some design elements are finished in Vibrant Silver. The setup JCW, which underlines the sporty side of the car, includes various aesthetic features such as the rear diffuser, the radiator grille frame and the glossy black JCW logo. The tire diameter is larger than the previous model, with the aerodynamic rims available in 16 and 18 inch variants.
SAME AS THE 3 DOORS – L’passenger compartment features the same setup as the three-door variant, with the slim head-up display behind the steering wheel, the multimedia system visible on a display circular oled with a diameter of 240 mm on which the Mini Operating System 9 operating system runs.
