Microsoft released the official trailer for Season 13 of Sea of Thieves during the Xbox Games Showcase: the update, which will be available starting from July 25th, will introduce a whole series of new features in Rare’s pirate adventure.

The theme of Season 13 is in fact that of “becoming the bad guy”, and leading a crew of skeletons towards victory, putting ourselves in command of a powerful warship capable of giving life to clashes that have never been so engaging and spectacular.

It won’t just be a struggle, however: in Season 13 we’ll find ourselves following the trail of past expeditions, discovering the fate that befell those crews, and unraveling new mysteries as we unlock exclusive cosmetic items.

What’s new in Season 13

A few weeks after the debut of Sea of Thieves on PS5, here is the arrival of a new, exciting update that introduces several new contents, starting with Flameheart’s flagship, the Burning Blade, which will return to sail the seas.

The ghost ship is ready to terrorize the seas and we will have to face its crew in a spectacular battle to conquer the ship and make it ours, becoming the protagonists of the new Sea of Thieves world event.

The Burning Blade is equipped with ten cannons and a double flamethrower: devastating equipment, which allows it to face any opponent without fear, while maintaining all the comforts for the crew, including a room equipped with an altar.

Regardless of your reference platform between PC, PlayStation and Xbox, get ready to set sail again with Season 13 of Sea of Thieves: as mentioned, the appointment with the update is set for July 25th.
