Bugatti Chiron definitively closes its history with the one-off special (unique example) “L’Ultime”. The W16-powered supercar debuted in 2016 and since then has given rise to many special versions and one-offs. As we know, the car manufacturer now under the control of Rimac is already working on the heir to this supercar which will have a hybrid V16 engine whose debut is expected soon.
For the Chiron L’Ultime, Bugatti started from the foundations of the Chiron Sport. Built by hand at the Molsheim factory, this example stands out for a livery that combines the Atlantic Blue and French Racing Blue colors. Furthermore, on the bodywork we find the names of the most significant places/events in the history of this very high performance model. Let’s think of Geneva where it was presented, Paul Ricard where it was developed and the Ehra-Lessien circuit where it reached its top speed record of over 300 miles per hour (just over 490 km/h to be precise).
To celebrate the latest Chiron, the number 500 (a reference to the progressive number of examples produced) was placed in various points of the car including the hubcaps and the wing. Number 500 which we also find inside the passenger compartment and precisely on the headrests of the seats and in the central tunnel. The cabin also features carbon fiber moldings, “Deep Blue” leather upholstery and “Blue Carbon Matt” finishes. The look of this unique example of the sports car was developed by the Bugatti Sur Mesure division which specializes in model customisations.
With the end of the Chiron’s career, the heir is expected and expected over the next few weeks. As mentioned, the engine will be a naturally aspirated V16. No turbo but there will be the presence of a hybrid system about which, however, nothing precise is known at the moment. All that remains, therefore, is to wait for the presentation of this new supercar to find out more.
