In its effort to showcase the game day by day, Ninja Theory has released some new images Of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade IIin which some of the places we will visit during the adventure are immortalized, which appear to be truly evocative, both in composition and creation.
These are mostly barren and very large places, where rock formations prevail. In a couple of images we can see wooden constructions, such as small bridges, but in the other two images nature reigns supreme, with that typically Nordic flavor due to the splendid light visible in all the shots. Even the clouds in one of the shots seem to be really well done.

In short, despite being static images, they are truly a beautiful sight. After all, the guys at Ninja Theory are masters in the use of Unreal Engine and, despite the small size of the development team, it seems that they managed to work miracles from the point of view of visual impact, as they had also done in the first Hellblade with completely different means.
It remains a certain disappointment to see that it seems to be the development team itself that takes care of a good part of it marketing of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, at least at this stage. In reality it is not easy to sell a game like this, which focuses entirely or almost entirely on the vivid representation of the protagonist’s mental problems, considering its peculiarities and the difficulty of making certain concepts understand to players, mired in the profound debates linked to 30 or 60 fps .
It doesn’t seem to be a game that can be sold for the combat system or the open world full of mini games, but it aims to be a completely different experience, in line with that of the first chapter.
Will he be able to convince the players? Or does Ninja Theory risk ending up like Tango Gameworks if it gets moderate feedback? We will know on May 21, 2024, when Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be available for PC and Xbox, with a simultaneous launch also on the subscription service Xbox Game Pass.
