The new trailer for STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl first of all confirms the release date of the new open world shooter, that of September 5th next. As is known, the development of the game was enormously troubled due to the involvement of the members of its software house, GSC Game Worldin the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
In addition to PC, STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl will arrive on September 5th Xbox and, immediately on day one, on Game Pass. As for the platforms from which it will be possible to purchase the PC version they are Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store.
The trailer offers an overview of one of the first areas of the game and is spoken in the Ukrainian language. His title Not a paradise. Developed on Unreal Engine 5STALKER 2 promises to be one of the most graphically complex games this year, also capable of offering breathtaking settings and large open spaces.
The STALKER video game series is set in a post-apocalyptic universe and revolves around the Exclusion Zone, a region heavily contaminated following the Chornobyl nuclear explosion. Players take on the role of a “Stalker”, a mercenary explorer who ventures into the Exclusion Zone in search of mysterious and valuable artifacts, as well as resources to survive. The Zone is populated by mutated creatures, bandits and other Stalkers, making the environment hostile and dangerous.
