An authorized Sonos parts dealer screwed it up big time. On his website he published the name and images of the first headphones from the American company which will probably be announced next month.
The wireless headphones are called Sonos Ace. The images were mistakenly posted on the site of Sonos component retailer Schuurman. Not happy, the retailer also published the price: 403.58 euros. A price list that will certainly be adjusted for the official price, but which gives a reference to the range of the new and unreleased Sonos headphones.
The images show headphones with circumaural cushions (i.e. which completely envelop the ear) and a very simple line. You can see some buttons on the bottom and side of the earcups and also a vertical manual selector.

The package includes a jack cable for non-wireless listening, a USB-C cable, a case for headphones, and a smaller one that it is not clear what it contains: perhaps ear pads in a different material, or a container for the cables.
According to rumors collected in recent months, the Sonos Ace should offer integration with the company’s audio systemfor example with the possibility for Sonos soundbar owners to listen to TV audio on headphones.
Probably, the Sonos Ace will also benefit from the new version of the Sonos app (for S2 products) which has been completely updated today, and which also includes a web app compatible with all browsers.
