Google Pixel 9 Pro, here are the real photos of a prototype
Descriptive text here

The first, alleged, real photos of the Google Pixel 9 Pro have appeared online… Or at least of a model/prototype of it. The Montenegrin blog published them in the last few hours Rozetked, citing an anonymous source. We cannot be certain of their authenticity, but it must be said that they correspond very well to the renderings that the veteran (also extremely reliable) OnLeaks had published several weeks ago.

In the photos we can see what according to rumors will be the intermediate model of the family, namely the Pixel 9 Pro, alongside a “real” iPhone 14 Pro Max. They are clearly of very different dimensions – the Apple phone has a display with a diagonal of 6 .7”, while the Pixel 9 Pro will be rather compact, at least by today’s standards, at 6.1”. You notice a rather radical change to the rear Chamber Barwhich this year will no longer cover the entire width of the back but will be a sort of island (however very similar in shape).

However, the rear camera is triple, like any self-respecting Pixel Pro – we hypothesize, even if there is no confirmation for now, a triptych composed of main + ultrawide + tele. The source says that the Pixel 9 Pro will have Google Tensor G4 chips and more RAM than the previous generation (16 GB, against 12). Pixels are historically not gaming phones, but artificial intelligence, on which the Mountain View giant is focusing heavily to differentiate itself and prevail over the competition, will benefit greatly from this increase in memory.

For the rest there are some details that we can consider secondary: the side edges will be flat and shiny, the RAM memories will be produced by Micron and the UFS by Samsung. The modem will be an Exynos 5400, which will also include satellite connectivity. They will also improve energy efficiency and speed. Also interesting to note is the change in position of the SIM slot, now on the lower edge next to the Type-C port.

As we were saying, this year Google will introduce a third flagship in a strategy that has practically always been two devices. In terms of technical specifications, this is the new model, even if the name has already been heard: it will remain a “smooth” Pixel 9, direct heir of the Pixel 8, in all likelihood without telephoto and with a 6″ diagonal display, and then a Pixel 9 Pro XL will be added, which should be the same as the 9 Pro with the difference of the 6.7″ display. The latter will in fact be the heir to the Pixel 8 Pro.
