Cities: Skylines 2, new DLC Beach Properties is the worst rated product ever on Steam
Descriptive text here

Cities: Skylines 2 it didn’t start off on the right foot, obtaining very little favor from the public due to the state in which it was launched. Now, however, the situation could be even worse, thanks to the launch of the DLC Beach Propertieswhich currently appears to be the worst reviewed product by users on Steam.

Beach Properties is essentially a beach-themed package of extra assets that, to put it mildly, isn’t being liked very much… given that there are no beaches. In fact, not at all, considering that there are 780 of the current ones reviews only 4% are positive.

Few contents

Little content for Beach Properties

The complaints focus on two distinct points: the first concerns the fact that the base game is still in a very precarious state, so for some it was not appropriate to publish a Paid DLC without first having arranged it better; the second instead concerns the contents of the DLC itself, which are far too small for what it costs (€9.99). There is talk of a handful of houses, many of which are similar to each other, and of decidedly strange shortcomings for a package called “Beach Properties”, given that it does not allow you to design actual beaches, with connected structures.

Buyers in particular are complaining Ultimate Edition of Cities: Skylines 2, who have the DLC included in the price and who consider it really too limited, also given the wait to have it and all the other problems already expressed.

The result is that at the time of writing this news, Beach Properties is at the bottom of the popularity rankings on Steam. It wasn’t easy to do so, given that Valve’s store currently has a catalog that includes tens of thousands of titles. Note that the second worst product is The Beach Properties Bundle, which pairs Beach Properties and another DCL that adds a radio station. Too bad, because just recently support for mods was added and there was hope that Colossal Order could make up some ground.
