These are his words: “Balanced match, I remember very few scoring opportunities in general. Then Avellino rose a bit in the final and with the quality of the substitutions they found the opportunity for the penalty and won. We could have done better , we didn’t do it, creating few dangers. A match that could have ended 0-0 in the end, but little would have changed, because only with a victory could we have climbed some positions. We finish in ninth place, we will go to Picerno where we will have to win to try to pass”.
On the playoffs: “I don’t know what we will be in the playoffs, maybe a loose cannon, I hope so. We will go to Picerno against a team that knows how to play football, openly. If we had drawn we would have gone to Cerignola, little changes, we have to think about ourselves themselves”.
The weight of the warnings: “I don’t think they weighed, the match was balanced, fought, decided by a minimum episode. We had 3-4 warnings, so I hadn’t upset the team. Now let’s think about the playoffs which I hope will be long” .
On Avellino: “I made the playoffs last year as second with Crotone. We waited 35 days, from the last match of the championship to our first match. They are not few, because well-tested teams arrive, with games in their legs, and to stand still can have an impact. But Avellino has a strong, determined squad with quality and will be able to do well in the playoffs.”
