Google Maps and Search, many new features coming soon

Google Maps and Search, many new features coming soon
Descriptive text here

In the past few hours, Google has announced some interesting news for two of its best-known and most popular services: the search engine of the same name and Maps. In the first case the new features are focused on Shopping Graph, the technology that shows the products that a user might intend to purchase; it is, as can be easily imagined, an extremely complex and articulated technology, which makes extensive use of the data that the Mountain View giant collects on each of us to provide suggestions that are as relevant as possible. In the case of Maps, however, the goal is to allow us to better organize a trip – right now when it’s almost time to start planning summer holidays!

Google says it will start with around forty cities between Canada and the USA. Over the next few months, the platform will also highlight lists created by other community members. We have no information on any other expansions.

  • Ability to organize the places suggested in the lists. Lists are tools available to the user for some time, and are very useful for suggesting to the rest of the community what to do and what to see in a particular place. Google has announced that the distribution of one of their updates has started which allows you to reorganize the order of the various elements added at your discretion, for example by placing the most important ones at the top or in chronological order, like an itinerary. You can also add links to your social profiles to provide more information about the reason for suggesting the location – for example a photo or video.
