According to what has been reported, WhatsApp is thinking of introducing one Favorites tab where you can enter all the contacts you feel most comfortable with. This way you can then immediately refer to those people and those group chat which are taken into consideration more than all other contacts.
This way you avoid having to search through the infinite list of conversations, making everything much easier.
