An issue is emerging relating to Xbox 360 which could be worrying, but up to a certain point: actually today, December 31, 2025it seems to be thelast day on which the calendar can be set of the Microsoft console, but only if you want to proceed with manually setting the date.
As had also emerged previously and was reiterated in a recent thread on Reddit, December 31, 2025, i.e. today, appears to be the last day on which it is possible to select a date in manual way on Xbox 360, but that doesn’t mean the calendar doesn’t continue further.
In fact, the system does not stop today but continues to regularly report the date successivecontinuing with January 1, 2026 and beyond, therefore the question arises only regarding the manual setting of the date.
Not a huge problem, but present nonetheless
Basically, it is true that the Xbox 360 internal calendar does not allow you to manually position a date after December 31, 2025, but the system still recognizes the following ones, so just select the setting for the automatic date from Xbox Live to stay updated.

The problem remains for non-consoles connected to the internetwho may have problems having the calendar updated, as well as possible discrepancies that may emerge in the subsequent adjustment for consoles not normally connected.

In any case, a new Millennium Bug specific to the Xbox 360 seems to have been averted, beyond the actual impact that such a problem could have on users, considering that we are talking about a console that now fully falls within the scope of retrogaming.
