Mel Gibson e Rosalind Ross they decided to go their separate ways after nearly a decade together. The news comes from People, which reveals how the couple’s separation occurred with great confidentiality about a year ago.
In a joint statement, the Oscar-winning actor and the TV screenwriter explained that they wanted to face this new phase with maturity and respect, always in the name of love for their child: «Although it is sad to close this chapter of our liveswe are blessed with a wonderful son and we will continue to be the best parents we can». Mel Gibson, 69, and Rosalind Ross, 35, will continue to raise their son Lars, who is now 8, together.
The story between the two began in 2014: they had met through some mutual friends. Two years later, the couple did his first official appearance on the red carpet of the 2017 Oscarsthe year in which the family expanded with the arrival of little Lars.
