There has been no announcement from Capcom, but the possibility emerges that Monster Hunter Wilds can also reach up Nintendo Switch 2in base a un little clue hidden in a recent game update.
By carrying out research on the code, some users dedicated to data mining have detected an interesting reference that could indicate the existence of a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds: it is a line of code which says “via.store.Native.ns2UpgradeEdition”.
It’s difficult to understand precisely what it could be, but “ns2UpgradeEdition” seems to refer to an upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, put like that, although obviously there is some imagination to be worked on.
A very plausible port
In fact, considering Capcom’s recent opening to Nintendo Switch 2 which also led to the announcement of Resident Evil Requiem on the new Nintendo console, it cannot be ruled out at all that the new chapter of the Monster Hunter series could also arrive on Switch 2.
In fact, that’s enough natural think that a game of this importance is also expected on Nintendo Switch 2, considering the large potential audience that it could meet on this platform, and the proximity of the series to Nintendo platforms.
Monster Hunter Wilds performance on PC improves by up to 20% with TU4, but not without compromises
The obstacle could be the technical difficulties encountered by Capcom inoptimization of the game, which also showed several flaws in the PC and console versions and could therefore require some time to be “reduced” properly for Nintendo Switch 2.
However, with the work done to make Resident Evil Requiem work on the Nintendo console, the transposition of Monster Hunter Wilds should not be an impossible job for Capcom, with the game having recently received the big free Title Update 4.
