In the last few hours the Nerazzurri club has found itself in a storm after a post was published on social media that was not appreciated by the fans.

Switzerland-Italy, social media storm breaks out over Sommer

Inter’s social media post, in which they congratulated Sommer on reaching the quarter-finals, was targeted by black and blue fans, also nervous about the fact that Italy, and 5 Nerazzurri players, went out against the Swiss national team. “The 5 Inter players eliminated with Italy, then?“, “As an Inter fan, this post is illegal. Italy just exited in a shameful way“, “You suck! Italy lost“, are just some of the comments under the post, which sparked the anger of the fans.
Inter’s intention was obviously not to unleash a real storm, but to compliment one of their members for going through to the next round, as they did for Lautaro Martinez and Buchananengaged with their respective national teams in the America’s Cup. Italy’s performance was certainly not a great one and the Nerazzurri players, like all the others, struggled a lot during the competition. Obviously the black and blue club always wishes the best for his players.
