Tour de France in Oltrepó, the time of passage of cyclists

The edition of Tour de France 2024 will also make its way into Oltrepò Pavese.

The day to mark on the calendar is Monday 1 July.

This is a historic edition because for the first time the main cycling stage event will start from Italy.

After leaving from Firenze and the next one from Cesenatico (in memory of Pantani), on the third day we will start from Piacenza to get to Torino.

In the first part of the third stage, 231 km in total, the caravan of cyclists will pass through the province of Pavia along the Via Emilia: Stradella, Broni, Redavalle, Santa Giuletta, Casteggio, Montebello della Battaglia, Vogherathen Pontecurone and Tortona.

The time of passage in the province of Pavia it should be between 12.00 and 12.30.

The stage seems ideal for pure sprinters.

A significant journey that includes passing through Tortona in memory of the great Fausto Coppi, crossing the Langhe, a UNESCO heritage site together with Roero and Monferrato, home of food and wine, wine and truffles.

Given the flat characteristics, the final sprint to decree the winner of the stage in the Piedmont capital seems inevitable.
