The first free practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen. Initially, a great Fabio Di Giannantonio seemed to have closed the lead with a time of 1:32.314, but the time of the Roman driver of Pertamina VR46 was canceled just after the end of the session and consequently he Francesco Bagnaia jumped to the lead.
Bagnaia who recorded a time of 1:32.401 and ran a decidedly consistent and solid session, thinking above all about race pace and tyre management, but also proving to be competitive on the flying lap.
