It was held today Federal Council from the FIGC. An assembly from which very important decisions emerged, such as the admission of the new youth team of the Milan to the next championship of Serie C. In addition to this, the dates of the next championships for the season have also been made official. 2024/25A calendar that, as far as the top division is concerned, will have to take into account the clubs’ many commitments between the new Champions League formula and the Club World Cup.
Serie A and Serie B, the dates of the 2024/25 season
Through an official press release, the FIGC has officially announced that the next season of A league will start the August 18, 2024 and it will end 25 maggio 2025.
Similar dates also for the Serie B which will leave one day earlier (August 17th), and then finished its regular season on 9 maggio before the playoffs and playouts.
Serie C and women’s football: all the dates
These are the dates made official by the FIGC for the Series C and the women’s championships:
- Serie C Now: start August 25, 2024 – end April 27, 2025;
- Professional Women’s Serie A: start 31 August 2024 – end 18 May 2025;
- Women’s Serie B: start August 31, 2024 – end May 18, 2025;
- Serie D: start 8 September 2024 – end 4 May 2025;
- Women’s Serie C: start 8 September 2024 – end 1 June 2025;
- Serie A 5-a-side football: start 19 October 2024 – end 21 June 2025;
- Serie A Women’s Futsal: start September 29, 2024 – end June 15, 2025.
