Sport is increasingly technological and in cycling Visma – Lease a Bike continues to be the most IT team on the World Tour. And it arrived at the Tour de France the revolutionary Control Room. From the collaboration between the sponsor Vismapioneer in enterprise software, e BetCitya Dutch provider of online sports betting, the Control Room is an extraordinary example of modern technology in top-level sport, analyzing the data generally available in real time during the various phases of the race, such as television footage, weather information and race radio, to optimize the decisions to be made by breaking down all the timescales. Visma’s expertise in data collection and visualization, combined with BetCity’s goal to play smarter, have created a unique tool in the cycling industry.
