CONEGLIANO (TREVISO)- From Scandicci to Conegliano to find new stimuli and new goals. The Chinese champion Zhu Ting, at the age of twenty-nine, has signed a contract that will link her to the European and Italian champions for next season.
“Zhuper” is his nickname which comes from the union of his surname “Zhu” with the adjective “Super”.
Evidence of his absolute top player status is the endless list of individual awards including the MVP titles won at the Rio Olympics in 2016, at the Champions League in 2017, at the 2018 Club World Cup and twice at the World Cup.
Experience, talent and physical size make her a formidable spiker who will enrich the squad available to coach Daniele Santarelli for next season with her illustrious pedigree and great motivation.
She is the first Chinese player in the history of Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley. She will play with the number 4.
THE CARREER–
Born on November 29, 1994, she is originally from the province of Henan, China, Zhu Ting is one of the greatest interpreters of world volleyball, which for fifteen years has seen her protagonist on the most prestigious stages both with the Chinese national team (Olympic Champion in 2016, a bronze and a silver world championship in 2018 and 2014, two World Cups and 1 Asian Championship), which with the clubs given the militancy in top teams such as Vakifbank Istanbul (from 2016 to 2019 with 2 Champions League, 2 Club World Cup, 1 Scudetto, 1 Turkish Cup and 1 Super Cup) and in the last two seasons in Italy at Savino del Bene Scandicci with which he won a Cev Cup and this year he competed for the championship with Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley in an exciting final.
