The Mugello Grand Prix will be remembered for Pecco Bagnaia’s fantastic “double”, two victories which allowed the Piedmontese to close part of the gap on Jorge Martin, the current world championship leader, who is now “only” 18 points behind Pecco . Excellent results in the Italian GP also for Marc Marcquez, Bagnaia’s future colleague and third in the world rankings.
After a three-week hiatus, during which the riders’ market has created no small amount of excitement, amidst both disappointment and joy, the MotoGP returns to the track this weekend, from 28 to 30 June, with the Motul Dutch Grand Prix, which will see the riders racing on the curbs of the TT Assen.
