With the European Championships taking center stage in the European football landscape, from a club point of view it is time for reflection. The transfer market looms large, and even if next season seems far away, soon the companies will find themselves in retreat to prepare it as best as possible.
In the meantime, however, as mentioned, the clubs will have to strengthen themselves, completing various operations both incoming and outgoing, and making their squads as competitive as possible.
But all the enthusiasm that has been felt around the Capitoline club until now seems to have vanished completely. The company’s failure has in fact been defined as a real failureleaving the upper levels of the management speechless, called to give answers.
Company buried by declarations
Lately Giancarlo Oddi, former Lazio footballer and current commentator, spoke to NMM. The topics covered by the former defender were different, but in particular he focused on the situation of his old club, also in terms of the transfer market.
Oddi spoke of the Aquilotti’s possibility of taking a profile like Greenwood, hoping that the club can build a competitive team in view of next year. Likewise, however, the commentator did not spare some criticism for the results obtained last seasoncalling it a failure.

“The fact that Lazio is already moving on the transfer market straight away gives me hope, it’s a step forward. I’m waiting for the market to understand if the club is convinced to bring back the enthusiasm of the fans. There isn’t a particular name that I’m interested in arriving. I hope that more names are mentioned, to be sure that the company is probing various important names.”
“We know that Lazio cannot buy five players at Greenwood’s level. Matches are won with quality players: the team has lost three players of this level. If after deservedly finishing second, you don’t even make it into the top four, that’s obviously a failure. I hope that the club shows, at least the attempt, to sign a certain type of players. If two profiles like Greenwood and Samardzic arrived I would be satisfied.”
