The final victory in the tournament ATP 500 in Halle allows Jannik Sinner to gain another 500 points in the ATP Races: the blue reaches altitude 5800with 1215 points margin on the closest pursuer, the German Alexander Zverev, second with 4585.
It should be remembered, however, that the Italian tennis player, having won the Australian Open, he is already virtually qualified for the Finals of the end of the year, which will be held again at Turin: One appears at the end of the last ATP Tour tournament of the calendar year completely unlikely scenario what he would see Jannik Sinner out of the top seven in the world rankings (which will correspond precisely to the Race to Turin).
In the unfortunate event, however, in which it does not fall within the scope, the blue could take advantage of the rule that allows the best placed among the winners of the Grand Slam tournaments between eighth and twentieth place to take part in the Finals.
Furthermore, if there are two Slam winners between eighth and twentieth place, only whoever is better placed between the two will be entitled to participatewhile the other will be there first reserve. Should the Slam champions be all in the top 7or beyond 20th place, then also the eighth place winner will go to the Finals.
Sinner is sure to remain No.1 even after Wimbledon: because he is already uncatchable for Djokovic and Alcaraz
