Hurkacz sinks, triumphs in Halle and prepares for Wimbledon

HALLE (Germany)Jannik Sinner signs his 4th success of the season (14th in his career) by winning the ATP 500 tournament in Halle, his first career triumph on grass for the Italian tennis player who goes 37-3 this season becoming the 8th player in history to win a tournament after becoming world number 1. Sinner defeated in the final Hubert Hurkacz (number 7 in the world) with the score of 7-6(8), 7-6(2) after an hour and 49 minutes in a match where Sinner showed great solidity in his serves (only one break point allowed) and great cynicism in the tie-breaks in forcing his opponent into errors and not giving him opportunities.
