McKennie stops Douglas Luiz’s arrival at Juve: the agreement is missing, everything is on stand-by

Hitch linked to Weston McKennie in the maxi negotiations between Aston Villa and Juventus for the transfer of Douglas Luiz to Juventus. The operation has been set up for days, with the American expected to go to the Premier League club together with Samuel Iling-Junior, in addition to a financial compensation of around 20 million euros, to allow the Brazilian midfielder to land at Thiago’s court Motta, who would thus have the first reinforcement after the announcement of his arrival on the Juventus bench. All done? Absolutely not, given that the news of the last few hours has revealed that there is no agreement between McKennie and the English. An operation which is therefore currently on stand-by and the parties will have to update themselves over the next few days.

Feelings (still) positive.
The feeling is that in the end the definitive white smoke will be reached but for the moment everything is at a standstill, given that there is no agreement between McKennie and Aston Villa both on the salary that the midfielder will receive and on the commissions for his agents. For this reason, it will still take some time before booking flights for the players and making everything official after the usual medical visits.

News expected soon.
The parties are at work and the objective of the two clubs is to close the operation by June 30th, with the terms of the negotiation, as mentioned, set for days now: Douglas Luiz will arrive at Juve, while in addition to Iling Junior and McKennie will also be paid a financial compensation of 20 million euros to Aston Villa.
