The fourth day of the men’s European football championship will be played on Monday 17 June, the one in which France will make its debut, considered one of the strongest and favorite teams for the final victory. The French national team will play at 9pm against Austria, which has been coached by Ralf Rangnick since 2022 (the other group D match, the one between the Netherlands and Poland, was played yesterday: the Netherlands won 2-1).

3pm
Romania-Ukraine [Monaco di Baviera – Sky e Now]

6pm
Belgium-Slovakia [Francoforte – Rai 2, Sky e Now]

9pm
Austria-France [Düsseldorf – Rai 1, Sky e Now]

Before Austria-France there will be two matches in group E: Romania-Ukraine at 3pm and Belgium-Slovakia at 6pm. For the first time after about ten years, Belgium arrives at an international tournament not among the favourites, because the players of the so-called “golden generation” (a group of very strong footballers born in Belgium between the end of the 1980s and early nineties) are no longer at the best moment of their career, or have retired. This could paradoxically help Belgium, who in the past have often felt the pressure of being such a strong national team but not used to winning.
