Respecting the educational and social values ​​promoted by the Salesian tradition, founded on the legacy of Don Boscothe Salesian youth sports clubs have given life to the third edition of “Pgssiadi 2024 Campania”held for the first time last weekend in the splendid setting of Montecorice, in the heart of Cilento.

The Campania Regional Committee, thanks to the collaboration of the municipal administration of Montecorice, governed by the mayor Flavio Meolahosted, over the course of three days, many young people, coming from every corner of the region, who tried their hand at multiple disciplines, such as football, 5-a-side football and walking football, mini-basketball, tennis, beach volleyball, table tennis , table football and pickleball.

Particular attention, this year too, to social issues thanks to the project that the PGS are carrying out at a national level on inclusive sport, which involves the participation of young people with disabilities or those belonging to disadvantaged families.

The beating heart of the initiative was the sports field “Luigi Piccirilli” Of Montecoricewhile the seafront of Agnone Cilento it has transformed into a real sports village, entertaining adults and children with mini basketball, tennis and pickleball.
