Silver 12 months ago, the Sweden of Giulio Bregoli and Isabelle Haak won the 2024 edition of the European Golden League, subverting the predictions of the day before. Led by the Italian coach, the Scandinavian team found the usual firebrand in the irrepressible Isabelle Haak (in the photo next to her sister Anna) (her final points were 30). For the Swedish opposite number it is yet another seasonal triumph, after those collected with the Imoco Conegliano shirt. The Czech Republic with the veteran Havelkova and the new Roma VC Orvosova (20 points) gave the impression of being able to make the final success their own, but they could do nothing against the Swedish comeback.
Now Sweden has the big dream of participating in the next World Championship. To achieve this, he will have to continue to collect results in the remaining races this summer (the best in the Fivb ranking will go to the 2025 World Cup).
