“Coaching Fortitudo Bologna is my dream”

The name of Dino Repesa, son of Jasmin, has long been circulating around several teams as an option for the head coaching role. The coach born in 1992 spoke to BM in view of next season, in which he will coach Cedevita Zagreb taking over from Damir Mulaomerović. Dino has many memories of the years in Bologna, when his father coached Effe (from 2002 to 2006). “My dad was the coach, but I followed the home games up in Fossa, together with my youth team mates. Thinking about it still gives me chills. If I had to choose a player who left his mark on me, I would say Gianluca Basile: his work ethic, always aimed at giving his best, I use as an example for the athletes I train, so that they aim to continually improve with humility and determination.”

Repesa has made no secret that he wants to coach Fortitudo one day. “Coaching Fortitudo is my dream. In general, I would like to work in Italy to compete with a very complex, stimulating and highly qualitative reality, it doesn’t matter whether in Serie A or Serie A2. If I were to come to Effe, all the better: it would be the icing on the cake! However, I keep my feet firmly on the ground. Now, I think only and exclusively of Cedevita, with which there is a lot of work to be done”.
