Competing for the title at the ATP 250 tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch will be Alex de Minaur And Sebastian Korda. The Australian won his 17th final on the major circuit and will try to add his ninth title to his list; while for the American it is the very first time at the last act of an event on grass.

Thanks to the victory – achieved with a score of 7-6(4), 6-3 – against Hugh Humbert, the Sydney native will reach his best ranking, reaching eighth position in the world rankings. Humbert, for his part, had to face a double challenge and beat the qualifier Gijs Brouwer.

Down 0-4 in the first set, Humbert built the foundations to complete what would become a sensational comeback by taking the lead at 5-4 and obtaining two consecutive set points in the tenth game.

The two winning serves – also thanks to two too risky returns from the Frenchman – turned into the signal capable of interrupting de Minaur’s long lethargy. The Australian saved himself and subsequently managed the tie-break better than his opponent.

The verdict of the opening set did not turn off Humbert, who also tried to fight in the second. At 3-4, though. the forehand betrayed him, allowing de Minaur to close the game with a convincing innings.

Korda, however, ousted the home idol from the tournament Tallon Griekspoor with a clear 6-2, 6-4. The American didn’t give the Dutchman any opportunities on serve and dominated the first half, sealing the break in both the first and fifth games.

Griekspoor tried not to go out of the match by relying mainly on his serve, but gave up at 4-4 and was surprised by the excellent backhand return hit by Korda. Bianca Andreescu will return to play in a final two years after the last time.

The Canadian overwhelmed Dalma Galfi 6-4, 6-2. To find out the name of her rival she will have to wait a little longer, because the rain suspended the match between Liudmila Samsonova and Ekaterina Alexandrova when the 29-year-old erased two match points and won the decisive set.
